WhatsApp has recently publicized work in progress on a new feature which will permit the users to set up an avatar to use in place of their profile photo, WA Beta info conveyed.

With this feature, the users could generate an avatar — possibly like the ones on Snapchat, to be themselves in a new manner without displaying their real pictures.
As shown in the screengrab delivered by the WhatsApp news tracker, users will be able to create a perfect avatar for them through customization. Likewise, there will be possibility to pick the color of the avatar’s background.
The feature will be accessible to WhatsApp’s Android, iOS, and Desktop beta versions.
However, the date for its announcement is still unfamiliar and it will probably be rolled out in a very distant future as the company is at an initial stage of developing this feature, WA Beta info said.
